Why two logos?
When we started, wheeloffitness.com was unavailable. WTFN was what we came up with based on what we'd say whenever we were looking for a new workout.
Wheeloffitness.com came available, but we still like our old brand as well.
We hope to offer merchandise with your choice of logos soon.

Who We Are
Wheel of Fitness is a concept developed by a group of fitness enthusiasts who wanted to take their workout to the next level and get beyond the plateau.
Muscle memory in athletes and musicians develop to allow them to perform the same action the same way every time. Neural pathways are built in the brain to accommodate this repetition. The pathways can become so pronounced that conditions like musician’s dystonia can develop where, for instance, a guitar player is unable to move certain fingers independently [cite].
The same thing can cause problems in fitness. Doing the same workout over and over will lead to muscle memory, overdevelopment of certain areas and a body that is out of balance. At best a plateau is reached where no additional development can take place because the targeted fitness area is as developed as it can get. Our group discovered this the hard way over the years and decided to do something about it.
The “Wheel Of Fitness” is simply choosing a random workout or fitness program each week. We make sure it’s not a workout we’ve done recently and the movements and targeted fitness areas are not overused. We review the classes and programs and rate them as to what was targeted and how hard. Essentially, what’s sore and how sore.
An added benefit to random workouts is neural plasticity. By changing up the workouts and the movements on an irregularly regular basis different areas of the brain are engaged and so the brain becomes more limber as the body becomes more fit.
Our group has been doing this and we have all seen results. We are a variety of ages and fitness levels and we are all dedicated to doing what it takes to improve the only body we will live in.
If this sounds like you give the wheel a spin and join us.
